TEK Military are launching the ProTEK® Mesh-Plus seat (pictured) at the show. The new lightweight seat offers improved seat ergonomics, making it the ideal choice across most land platforms. Key features include driver/commander/crew variants, M2 safety-rated, integrated Def Stan 25-9 restraints, full through-life support, plus optional blast protected modules, head protection and armrests.
Blast attenuation
Protection from the effects of IEDs and land mines remain an area where seating can offer life-saving protection levels. Blast attenuating seating has been formulated to reduce ‘G’ forces to survivable levels - as our understanding and experience has grown, modern seating is tailored to complement vehicle velocity rates which has resulted in even greater protection for our troops. Also at DSEI will be a newly developed non-stroking blast attenuation system which is now available on most ProTEK® seats. ProTEK® SV conforms to Stanag 4569 AEP 55 standards and is fully certified and tested.
