NEW PROTEK® SEATS OFFER MORE CAPABILITIES AT DVD 2016

THE ProTEK® brand of vehicle seating solutions from TEK Military Seating, which has always been at the cutting edge of technology and innovation, has developed new products which will be on show for the first time at DVD 2016, taking place at Millbrook from 7th to 8th September.

Driver and Commander seating have been augmented with the ProTEK® Light Crew seat (pictured), which has become our most popular seat because of its light weight construction, low profile and robustness, has been developed to offer Stanag 4569 AEP55 blast protection for vehicles of 10 tonnes+ with lower velocity rates. Fully tested at Millbrook in August 2016, performance levels proved exceptional, well within the standard, making the ProTEK® Light an ideal alternative to traditional damper-type blast seats on vehicles of 10 tonnes+ as the seat is not required to stroke, is low cost, light weight and simple to mount.

New ProTEK® DC
The introduction of the ProTEK® DC which features the options of the newly developed 600 series seat riser, allowing operators to raise and lower the seat up to 160mm quickly, making it well suited for Special Forces open top vehicles where commanders are required to operate weapon stations.

The ProTEK® Mesh seat has also been developed for Special Forces vehicles where seating has to operate in all environments and is exposed to the elements, while still being light weight and incorporating the traditional functionality of traditional driver/commander seats.

TEK Military Seating has always been associated with product innovation. DVD 2016 also sees the launch of the new ProTEK® Human Transport Module (ROPS) featuring modular construction, allowing seat configurations of 2,4,6,8 etc. to be created to meet requirement. Simple to assemble and fit, the units conform to European safety and tree strike protection standards. The ProTEK® HTM has the option of integrated universal weapon mounts.
