The ProTEK® range of vehicle seating from TEK Military Seating will be on show at this years’ IDEX exhibition, taking place in Abu Dhabi from 19th to 23rd February. ProTEK® seating is fast becoming the seating solution of choice for many vehicle builders and integrators across the globe. Each component has been designed, tested and proven by troops operating in some of the most demanding theatres of operation globally.
On show for the first time at IDEX will be the newly developed modular Troops ROPS system (pictured), evolved from our successful welded ROPS system it has greatly improved troop safety when transported on flatbed vehicles. The modular system consists of two seat modules which can be bolted together to meet the configuration requirements of the user - 2, 4, 6, 8 seat solutions or more can be created and removed as required. This improved modularity enables users to convert any flatbed vehicle into the troop carrying role with ease, greatly improving logistics and stowage.
Meeting the same safety standards as welded versions the ProTEK® M (ROPS) – another competitively priced market leading innovation from TEK.
Also on show will be the lightweight Mesh seat which has been developed for use in fast patrol vehicles, favoured by Special Forces because if its robustness, low profile and durability in all environments. The seat will be on view at the show in several vehicles and on our stand. With integrated harness and removable seat base pads, which can be heated to offer greater comfort even in cold climates, the ProTEK® Mesh offers superior safety and comfort - often not possible with traditional lightweight seating. The innovative design follows the same ProTEK® modularity, with modules such as side head guard protection, seat sliders, seat risers and back rake adjustment.
ProTEK® seat belt pads now feature our ProTEK® SV-V anti-vibration foam which reduces shock impact by around 60% in vehicle collisions and IED events. This newly developed foam has superior performance and comfort when compared to previous shock foams. These low cost, easy-to-use pads can be fitted to any seat belt, but are designed for use on all types of harness seat belt (regardless of make), greatly increasing safety and comfort.
