DVD, which this year takes place from 19th-20th September at Millbrook, will see TEK promoting its ProTEK® range of vehicle seating which has been designed to conform and exceed international standards of safety and protection. Most seats are typically safety rated to M1 or M2 with integral seat belt integration, which offers higher levels of occupant safety.
Blast attenuation seats feature both stroking and non-stroking versions, with ProTEK® SV blast foam now improved to offer Stanag 4569 AEP55 protection levels optimised up to 6mps on some vehicles. This makes stroking seats redundant for most vehicle types, as shock foam seats offer similar protection levels whilst being lighter, lower cost and simpler to maintain.
Protective buckle cover
Newly developed for integration with our Stanag 25-9 conforming seat harnesses range is a protective buckle cover, which reduces the ingress of dust/sand and water, whilst protecting buckles when not in use within vehicles, and reducing trauma to users in excessive heat or cold when in use. Innovative low-cost retractor covers have been developed to reduce the risk of sand/dust and water entering retractors, increasing reliability.
ProTEK® shock impact seat belt pads, which have proved popular with so many customers, have been improved to offer even more versatility with shock impact reduction rates improved to 80% when compared to seat belts without shock pads. Shock pads also have the option of integrated webbing cutters.
There will also be our new blast floor matting. TEK and SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. have developed a vehicle floor matting system designed to offer superior blast protection.
The unique and specially engineered geometry has been designed to absorb and dissipate energy during a blast event and reduce trauma to lower limbs. The maintenance-free matting is supplied in vehicle kits, waterjet cut with edge guards, ready-to-fit into vehicles and features a non-slip surface and FMVSS302 flame protection.
