THE Royal Netherlands marines have replaced its aging fleet of logistic vehicles, which are based in the Caribbean, with a new fleet of Iveco Eurocargo 4x4 trucks, with many having the ProTEK® HTM Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) units fitted.
The integration of the fleet has been carried out by VDL Defence Technologies in Eindhoven, with the fleet featuring a new composite flatbed to which the
ROPS units are fitted.
Working closely with VDL Defence Technologies, TEK has manufactured a 12 seat solution per vehicle, divided into two six seat units for ease of fitting and removal. Each unit features ProTEK® Light crew seats and conform to European roll-over protection standards.
