FOLLOWING visits to India during 2017, TEK Military Seating are delighted to announce that ProTEK® seats have been selected by several major OEM MRAP vehicle producers in both the home and export markets. ProTEK® Driver, Commander and Crew seating in Stanag 4569 AEP55 blast protection variants were selected after an extensive evaluation process, involving competitors from several countries. The combination of innovative design and integration support, along with cost effectiveness and in-country representation by our distributor MG Seating, based in Pune, India, has enabled us to break into this growing and important market.
To further our profile within India, TEK Military decided to exhibit at DEFEXPO, one of the premium defence shows in the region which took place from 11th to 13th April, in support of both our customers, who showed new vehicles with our seats fitted for the first time, and our distributor MG Seating who has worked hard to promote and bring ProTEK® to the market. Considerable interest was shown for the range of seats on show, with many new enquiries taken and major meetings attended by TEK Group CEO Paul Fleming and TEK Military Commercial Director David Parkman, who attended the show.
DEFEXPO has grown in prominence over the last 10 years, becoming the go-to bi-annual defence show in the region as India advances its aspirations to become one of the major producers of global technologies and products, making the 2018 event the best attended by exhibitors and visitors.
